What does SYV want from its members?
We are not asking for trained singers, although if you are one we would be delighted to see you! We are not looking for experienced musicians or the ability to read music. SYV recruits members of junior and senior school age, who are enthusiastic and have a strong sense of commitment and a love of music. To achieve a high standard of music it is necessary that members attend rehearsals regularly and take part in concerts. SYV are a team and every member has an essential role to play.

There are NO auditions – come along to rehearsals and see how you get along.

Where and when do we rehearse?
Rehearsals are held at St Peter’s Church, Staines:

Training Choir rehearse on Wednesdays 4:30 – 5:00pm – Ages 3.5 – 5
Junior Choir rehearse on Wednesdays 4:45 – 5:45pm – Ages 6-11
Senior Choir rehearse on Thursdays 6:00 – 7:0pm (with break) – Ages 11-21

Annual fees for all choirs are £25!
